daughter of 91-year-old irene logan, who found her mother's body lying on the kitchen floor of her northeast baltimore home last month. logan had been stabbed to death, according to baltimore city police, who now say they have a man in custody for the crime. 45-year-old anthony robinson has been charged with murder, assault, robbery and theft. a police spokesman says d.n.a. at the scene, including a cigarette, linked robinson to the crime. police believe logan was killed during a robbery attempt. maryland state police are investigating a mid-morning crash on interstate 3 that left one person dead. the accident happened around 8:30 this morning. witnesses say the driver of the jaguar sports car lost control of the vehicle, which rolled several times before coming to a stop on its roof. north bound traffic was completely closed as baltimore county fire crews removed the driver from the car. the victim was pronounced dead at the scene and has not been identified. a dunn dock woman was killed while crossing the street near east point mall last night. according to baltimore county polic

boston's logan airport to los angeles, that flight 11 was hijacked this morning and did is presumed that that is -- that may have been one of the planes that went into one of the towers of the world trade center. there were at least two more planes involved in this because the other tower was hit and then the pentagon was also -- there were eyewitness accounts it was a plane that went into the pentagon. we don't know the sources of those planes. whether they were commercial planes that were hijacked, private planes whether they were hijacked at all. i would point out the report from somerset county pennsylvania, is so far just local authorities commenting. the faa has not confirmed that crash. so, we're waiting to hear more. i'm hearing just now -- bear with me. faa is now confirming, so this adds to the earlier rumors, there are several airplanes unaccounted for. there were some rumors there might have been other planes hijacked we didn't yet know the outcome of it, and now the faa is confirming that there are several, is the word i heard several planes unaccounted for that were evident

this video is amazing. it happened in logan, utah. captured on tape by a person in a nearby office building. nbc's miguel almaguer has the story. >> oh, my gosh! >> reporter: the roadside crash erupted in flames after a motorcycle and car collided in logan, utah. a fire ball by the time the first bystander could check for victims. soon he was join bid others including the woman who laid down on the ground and spotted the motorcyclist, a 21-year-old man pinned beneath the burning bmw. >> we saw the body. we had to help him. >> reporter: unable to reach the victim, a construction worker tried to move the car and within seconds was join bid a group of five. together, a collective lift, but the car wouldn't bunch. the victim was stuck. the bmw still burning. >> it was very hot. just hot and kind of dangerous. >> reporter: with time slipping away and a sense of panic setting in, the woman checked again on the victim. then suddenly a unified push. a group of roughly a dozen both men and women rushed in. together, they raised the roughly 4,000 pound car. >> get out. somebody grab him. >>

originated in boston, both from logan. hijackers commandeered both flights within 35 minutes from takeoff, seized controls and steered the aircraft to lower manhattan, driving them, one each, into the north and south towers of manhattan's famed twin towers. a third plane took off from washington dulles airport, was hijacked 34 minutes later by five terrorists and slammed into one of the pentagon's five sides, killing 125 pentagon officials and visitors. a fourth airplane, united airlines flight 93, took off from newark airport and was seized by hijackers onboard who took control of the aircraft, forcing it no a u-turn to washington, d.c. before reaching targets in dc, presumably the white house or the capitol, the passengers of the ua flight confronted the hijackers and forced the plane to crash-land into a field in shanksville, pennsylvania, 65 miles southeast of pittsburgh in order to averted the horrors of a white house or u.s. capitol impact. there were 19 hijackers in the four planes, plus 226 plane passengers and crew. no one survived. and all four impact sites, the two twin
